DESIGN
PHILOSOPHY
We don't chase trends. We design pieces that last - visually and emotionally. We designed our collection with clean, minimal silhouettes, high quality fabric, elevated details and colors inspired by nature. A fit that considers real bodies, not just how it looks in photos.
After years of wearing swimsuits that didn't quite work - either too revealing, poorly fitting or worn once and forgotten - Chacá was created to be different.
No second guessing. No adjusting every five minutes. No wondering if it's "too much" or "not enough". Just a suit you trust every time you put it on. Because swimwear should feel as good as it looks.
VISION
I'm not just designing swimwear. I'm designing what I could never find. There should not be a compromise between sexy & appropriate, comfort & confidence, or trend & timelessness.
We envision a world where women no longer stand in front of the mirror questioning if something is too much, not enough, or right for the moment. Chacá exists to create pieces a woman trusts without hesitation. Pieces she reaches for again and again. That allow her to feel fully herself, anywhere she goes. Because when something feels right,
you don’t overthink it. You just enjoy it.
Chacá is where confidence, comfort and beauty exist in perfect balance.

OUR FOUNDER
KATY JANSA
CHACÁ was founded by Katy Jansa - an entrepreneur, creative, and storyteller guided by a deep belief in healing, beauty, and intentional living. Shaped by a career spanning sales, marketing, and banking, Katy built her foundation on connection—understanding people, anticipating needs, and creating experiences that feel both thoughtful and effortless. But her path into swimwear was not traditional. It was more personal.
Having spent significant time living in Tulum and Laguna Beach, and through countless trips to Costa Rica, Katy has spent much of her life in and around the ocean. Swimwear wasn’t occasional, it was everyday. Over time, it became second nature, something she wore more than anything else.
Inspired by her transformative experience with the healing Chacá tree in Tulum, Katy envisioned a brand that went beyond design: one rooted in meaning. A brand where each piece feels intentional, refined, and quietly powerful. Her approach is deeply detail-oriented: from custom textures that echo natural fibers to signature hardware designed as a symbol rather than decoration. Every element is considered.
For Katy, CHACÁ is not just about swimwear; It’s about how a woman feels when she wears it.
