BRUTAL HONESTY
I'm embarrassed to admit I have worn that skimpy bikini. I have also worn the alternative too. I am not the same person all the time and life takes me to very different settings. I've bought that trendy bikini and felt sexy. But would I wear it around my extended family? Hell no.
I've been the girl in the most conservative swimsuit and hated it. I wanted a better fit and feel at least a little sexy. I've been the girl in the skimpiest bikini and hated that too. I felt over-exposed and out of place. To avoid these dilemmas, I always overthink what I should wear, hyper-fixating on the scenario and what to expect. Don't we all? This is not insecurity, we're just aware, selective and intentional.
As we become more thoughtful and self-aware women, we are style conscious but not trend-obsessed. We're aesthetic women drawn to clean, minimal, elevated design. What we wear should be flattering, not risky. We're still getting sexier while becoming more sophisticated. I believe our swimwear should reflect every balance.
THE PROBLEM
We have options for swimwear, but none feel quite right. We deal with numerous tradeoffs. Some are too revealing and feel inappropriate to wear. Others are too conservative and feel too modest. They're safe but unflattering. We own trendy ones that didn't last. And fashionable ones that were too uncomfortable to relax. Some are too vibrant and can't ever been worn again. We've all bought swimsuits we wore only once. And now we question why we even bought it in the first place. It's mentally exhausting.
We have our go-to shirt, because it's high quality, comfortable, not too flashy, and you feel attractive in it. But do we have that one bikini we always reach for? I want swimwear that works across different settings, without worrying about the tradeoffs.

THE LEGEND
Our swimwear is inspired by the enchanting Mayan Legend of the Chechén and the Chacá. The tale illuminating the importance of balance and renewal. Chacá serves as a reminder that with every poison, there is an antidote. And what drives us most is love and connection. Wherever Chechén is located, Chacá will follow...
The story tells of two brothers, Kinich (kind) and Tizic (cold-hearted), who were rivals for the love of the same woman, Nicté-Ha. Their fight led to both of their deaths. They begged the gods to return to Earth, returning as trees: Tizic as the toxic Chechén and Kinich as the healing Chacá, forever destined to stand near one another. The legend serves as a lesson on balance, representing good and evil, or the sting and the antidote, coexisting in the environment. Where there is harm (Chechén), there is also healing (Chacá) nearby.
